The Center for Fertility and Gynecology was founded in 1987 by Dr. Michael Vermesh, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and Clinical Associate Professor at USC, who has helped bring thousands of babies into the world. He is joined by Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti, a published researcher and fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists with specialized training in PCOS, endometriosis, oncofertility, and LGBTQ family building. Both physicians hold certifications in OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.
Your Lab: Engineered From the Ground Up
Our embryology laboratory in Encino holds accreditation from the College of American Pathologists and was custom-built with an advanced air filtration system and isolated culture environment to protect every specimen in our care. The facility uses RI Witness™, a radio frequency identification platform that confirms the identity of each egg, sperm, and embryo sample at every handoff. This level of infrastructure is what allows us to consistently deliver the outcomes our patients expect.

Dr. Vermesh received his medical degree in Israel from the Tel Aviv University, Sackler School of Medicine before he moved to Chicago to complete his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and has over 30 years of experience to help you on your fertility journey.
Dr. Tannaz Toloubeydokhti
Dr. Tannaz Tolou earned her medical degree at Tehran University and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami before moving to California to complete her fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. She has earned numerous prestigious awards as well as board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.
